We were tasked with bringing the competition of a marketplace to life in a way that was simple and welcoming to the everyday online shopper. All of the usual challenges came out to play, such as seamless cross platform experience, personalisation, accessibility, and so on. Because of this, the project was run in a way that allowed for quick user feedback and iterative design.

Successes

  • Through iterative design practice, we were able to develop a prototype that tested well with all of the brand's target demographics.

Failures

  • This was unfortunately shelved due to financial pressures on Woolworths due to Aldi entering the Australia market, capturing vital market share in a space with already thin margins.
